Meet our new colleague: Bob van Geest

We’re excited to welcome a new face to T&G Wood! Bob van Geest recently joined our team, and we’d like to introduce him to you.

Bob is 23 years old and comes from Veenendaal. After obtaining his propaedeutic diploma in Commercial Economics, he is now studying Psychology at university. “What attracted me most to this position at T&G Wood,” Bob explains, “was the chance to explore a completely new field and to expand my knowledge from Commercial Economics within a great company.”

At T&G Wood, Bob will be working in inside sales, handling commercial administrative tasks and customer contact. His motto? Always putting the customer first and thinking along with them whenever needed. If he had to describe himself in three words: he would say driven, reliable, and eager to learn.

He’s looking forward to contributing to the team and further developing himself in different areas. His first impression of T&G Wood? “It’s a company with a true passion for wooden floors and strong teamwork. The variety of orders makes the work very dynamic.”

Outside of work, Bob enjoys sports. He plays football at VV DOVO and regularly does strength training at the gym. Fun fact: he prefers a good documentary over a movie—especially sports documentaries.
