Rustic Oak Herringbone Floor with Underfloor Heating

For this project, T&G Wood supplied a rustic oak herringbone floor by Cinzento Custom Made® in colour 42470, stained and oiled to create a warm, deep vanilla tone. Van de Steeg Parket installed the floor in a trendy home, flowing seamlessly from the living room to the kitchen and a children’s play area. Thanks to its colour and finish, the floor integrates effortlessly into modern interiors that feature natural materials.

The home includes steel doors and a built-in glass fireplace — elements that add a luxurious and characterful touch, combined with the rustic oak herringbone floor. The floor is suitable for installation on underfloor heating, which was also applied in this project.

The oak parts measure 15/4 x 140 x 700 mm and were delivered in Rustic A/B grade without bevel. The combination of stain and oil not only enhances the colour depth but also offers added protection for everyday use.
