Healthy & Durable “Vintage” Floor in a Stunning Villa

Discover the extra rustic “Vintage” floor made of European oak in an enchanting Swiss villa, where the masterpiece of European oak adds timeless elegance to the modern interior.

The wooden floor, characterized by extra-large knots and cracks with black fillings, exudes character and charm. This grade is called “Vintage”, also known as Rustic Extra. The planks are 15/4 mm thick, 220 mm wide and 2.200 mm long.

The treatment includes distressed edges, extra-deep brushing, and a finish in Cinzento 41950 color oil, giving the floor warmth and authenticity.

Living in a Healthy Environment

In addition to the aesthetic aspect, a wooden floor also offers significant health benefits. The hard surface prevents the accumulation of harmful substances, making it easy to clean. Regular maintenance of the wooden floor contributes to a healthier living environment by reducing the amount of dust and allergens in the house. Moreover, this also extends the lifespan of the wooden floor.

To further optimize air quality, we recommend the purchase of an air purifier and/or humidifier. Good humidity not only promotes the health of residents but also extends the life of the wooden floor, keeping it beautiful for years. Air purifiers and/or humidifiers are available directly from us at the time of purchasing a wooden floor.

Sustainability of Wooden Floors

Wood, as a renewable resource, is responsibly harvested from sustainably managed forests. Additionally, our wooden floors last for decades with proper maintenance. In addition to natural strength and wear resistance, they can be sanded and refinished, making them look like new again.

Biodegradability makes wooden floors a sustainable and environmentally friendly choice. Unlike non-biodegradable flooring materials, wooden floors not only contribute to the timeless appearance of a home but also to a lower ecological impact.
